We loved these scones! They were unique…. and not chocolate. Even a chocoholic needs a break sometimes. =)

I have to admit that I was skeptical at the outset, but now I am a carrot-coconut-citrus believer!

Also skeptical – I don’t love carrot and my husband doesn’t like shredded coconut. But we both liked these a lot!

I was not to eager to make these, as I am not a fan of coconut. They were pretty good though. I thought the citrus glaze tied it all together.

    I did a rewind as well —

I’ve been dying to make this bread since I got the book, and neither one of us were interested in the flavors of the scones.

It’s a little after noon here, but I finally got a chance to post. I just have to say I LOVE THESE SCONES! I was very surprised at how much myself and my husband enjoyed them. I’m sure I’ll be making them again.

Oh my I’m such a slacker! Two days late but hey, Scone Tuesday doesn’t sound too bad either.
