These Baked Chocolate Whoopie Pies make a deliciously fun and tasty Valentine for everyone I love. As a comparison, I like this recipe better than last year’s Red Velvet Whoopie Pies…better texture and keep better…still really good after a couple of days.

      Hi Kris!
I can’t reply directly on your blog because it doesn’t accept my credentials for open id. But your pies look so pretty! Great minds think alike in that we both flavored the filling and used sprinkles for Valentine’s day! I really love how yours turned out. And cherry and chocolate is such a great pairing! : )

Hi Rebecca! I wanted to post directly on your blog, but the open id does not recognize my credentials. But I wanted to tell you that your whoopie pies turned out beautifully! I bet the people at the events you brought them to were thrilled! (Hope you saved a couple for yourselves!) : )

I thought these were fun but a little heavy. Mine were HUGE though! I’ll try out smaller ones next time. And I loved the peanut butter filling.

I thought these were decent and fun to make. I haven’t had whoopie pies in such a long time! Going to visit everyone and say hello…..but I hope you all enjoyed these, too!

    HI

These are really good. I made a lot from one batch. I used my small cookie scoop and the pies were still 2 – 3″ inches. A great size.

    Glad to be back baking
