These are very tasty but very rich bar cookies. I’m sure all my grandkiddies will love this recipe.

Krissy….I’m unable to respond directly on your blog, but your bars came out beautifully! They were a bit of work, weren’t they! But it’s your apple hand pies that I’m coming over for! Sorry about your fridge….but look at all the goodies you get to eat up! : )

This is my first recipe with Baked Sunday Mornings, easy to make easier to eat! Very moorish, will definitely be making them again.

I think these were pretty good. But reflecting on Bourbonnatrix’ comment…..there were a LOT OF DISHES to wash! And for some reason, my dough wouldn’t come together and I needed to add an extra egg! Anyone else have that problem? Pretty tasty, though and as Krissy stated, VERY RICH! : )

loved these best out of the fridge, thought they got a little soft/melty/messy after sitting out for a while.

I’m not a peanut butter and jelly fan, but my husband liked these! I agree – lots of dishes. And an entire pound of butter!

My family loved these – I think I would have preferred a layer of melted chocolate to the jam.

I just used the food processor to make the peanut butter filling, and used a pastry cutter for the crust – I couldn’t understand the advantage of putting the dough in the Kitchen Aid. I’m convinced these guys never wash their own dishes – LOL!

I’m so sorry, but I didn’t make these because I didn’t look ahead on the schedule and just made another recipe of PB & J bars a couple of weeks ago and my family wasn’t keen on having them again so soon. I do want to try this recipe later and will do a catch up post at some point. I am looking forward to reading your posts.

This was my first time with Baked Sunday Mornings and I’m looking forward to more. The PB & J bars were delicious!! I’ll be making these again, taste best straight from the fridge.
