I wasn’t sure I’d have time to bake this cake so I passed on buying the $12.99 bag of almond flour. I bet I would have liked it.

If you have a Trader Joe’s near you, they sell almond meal, which is reasonably priced, just in case you need it in the future – that’s what I used.

You can also make your own in a food processor! :)

Maybe it’s because this is the pumpkin season… we love this pumpkin-almond cake and also love the frosting. One of our favorite Baked recipes so far! Layers of wonderful flavors and deliciousness.

Loved the cake, but the frosting — not so much.

I’m regretfully skipping out on this week. Non-stop at our restaurants, not to mention we’re all just about pumpkined-out after Thanksgiving. See you all next weekend!

I think I made it weird because I was out of regular almond butter. Loved the frosting, but not on the cake. Cake was good without the frosting.

I passed on this cake because I’m not a fan of almond products, but I made these Pumpkin Marshmallow Spekuloos Cupcakes instead!
