These were fine – my first venture into frying yielded some rather burnt results, with underdone centers. Yikes. Not sure I would make them again for a while; overall, a unique recipe but not too exciting for me. That rum dipping sauce though… oh my. Yummy.
I was a bit nervous about these, and waited literally until the last minute to make them. I am pleasantly surprised at the outcome and the actual ease of the process. I think they are a great idea for a different dessert ! Dipping sauce is amazing!

Fun twist on fritters. I didn’t make the rum sauce and used a honey caramel sauce that was perfect with these.
