I REALLY wanted to make these! But it was my boys’ birthday weekend so I was forced to go rogue. I can’t wait to read about how they turned out for everyone else!!
Can I say “thumbs-sideways”? These were not a huge hit with me or my friends; the tarragon was just too wonky and competed with the lime. I decided to take my own spin on these and revamped them – sans the tarragon (gasp!) – into Key Lime Pie-type cookies with white chocolate. The results were surprisingly pleasant!
I’ve missed you all, but enjoyed reading your posts while I’ve taken a hiatus. As you will see in my post, there have been some significant (good) changes for me in the past couple of months. Eating better, exercising more, and I’m down 20 pounds! I’ve missed baking as often, but the payoff of feeling better has – overall – been worth it. :-)

Interesting, thumbs medium for me too. Good but not “I can’t stop shoveling these in my pie-hole” good.
