Leave your Links: Antique Caramel Cake November 24, 2013 by bourbonnatrix How did you guys like this recipe?
I love this cake. I blogged about it earlier this year (http://ipso-fatto.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-cake-so-nice-i-made-it-twice.html), so for today I went rogue and made the tricolor cookies from the first book (http://ipso-fatto.blogspot.com/2013/11/baked-sunday-mornings-baked-tricolor.html).

Loved this one! It came together really easily for me – I often have some trouble decorating layer cakes but not so with this one. I especially loved the cream cheese in the frosting; I wouldn’t have thought to pair that with caramel but it worked beautifully! So good!

This cake and frosting are really delicious. I had a bit of trouble with the frosting not setting up stiff enough (you can see the picture on my blog) but other than that .. yum, yum!
This cake was so delicious and sweet!
Loved it! Made cupcakes instead of the layer cake, it was a big hit!

I’ve taken a sabbatical from blogging lately, but this cake brought me back!
Good to see you back, Chloe!
i was pretty excited that this was a Baked layer cake that didn’t take me all day to make!
Easy Peasy! Hopefully as tasty!

Absolutely loved. I liked the simplicity of this cake. It’s humble and unassuming, but one taste and you are blown away. So good. One of I will make again, for sure. That frosting is delicious!
Love. So. Much. I might make it again for Thanksgiving with a couple of minor modifications…
Whew, done! Did cupcakes. It is a yummy recipe. And is easy, so I think next time it would be in cake form.
I’m a slacker, and still haven’t made frosting, but I’ll finish at some point today!
I made this a few weeks ago, but I can’t find my pictures!
Found it…I remember now, I forgot to photograph my whole cake and the slices just didn’t look pretty! This was a really yummy cake.
This cake totally does it for me.
