I liked the flavor a lot, but the texture — not so much.

Hi everyone – I made this and love it, but with holiday doings today – plus we got hit with a major snowstorm this morning here in Milwaukee – getting the blog written before noon today, or even just today at all, may be very difficult. Darn it. Can I post this at a later time and still get into the round-up?

I’ve been down with a bad cough all week and just couldn’t find the energy to get to this. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s results.

I wasn’t planning to make this– instead I was determined to revisit the fudge from last time, but sadly I haven’t had a chance to remake it. Looking forward to seeing the beautiful panettones though. Happy Holidays, everyone– it has been a wonderful year blogging with all of you!! :)

Okay, here it is! Yay! Got it done!

I loved this panettone more than I anticipated I would. Wonderful flavor combinations and oh sooo good warm from the oven. Sadly, I let my dough rise too long and it exploded over the mold, but eh… what the hell. This is a yummy bread to just tear into. MERRY CHRISTMAS, my BSM friends! I so love reading your blogs throughout the year. They’re delightful.

Didn’t have time (or the paper molds) to make this. But I do hope to get to it after Christmas.
I hope everyone has a great holiday and a Happy New Year. Looking forward to the New Year and more baking. :)
