It won’t be Sunday for 1 1/2 hours, but I gotta get this experience posted. Too much Christmas fun going on at my house and 2 birthdays to celebrate tomorrow. Anyway, this cake is more than yummy. It is a new classic for me…I plan to bake this one every holiday season. It’s that good and that beautiful! It could have been totally frosted, however, I liked the suggestion to frost between layers and on the top; show off the entire cake. And wintertime is a perfect time for buttercream.

AWESOME cake. It’s so good it should be made throughout the year, not just at Christmas!

Loved it! And I’m anti-eggnog! Haha! My only troubles/complaint would be that it wasn’t as pretty when it was cut. Otherwise, it’s a lovely and impressive holiday cake!

I can’t stand eggnog. This tasted nothing like any eggnog I have ever had. Can’t wait to slice into this Good things come to those that wait, I hope.
