I also used all milk chocolate and therefore did not expect such great results…I’m a dark chocolate lover. But these silky pots of creme are fabulous! More like malted chocolate milkshake flavor than a chocolate pudding flavor.
These were delicious. I thought they were easy enough to make and turned out just lovely. I think next time I might even put them in smaller ramekins since some of my tasters felt they were overly sweet and less light be better.
I’m still not a huge malt lover… these were okay though. A touch too salty, which may be because of the malt rather than the fleur de sel. The malt lovers in my life loved these, but I personally would stick with just regular chocolate pots de creme. ;-) I make a personal ‘appearance’ in this week’s blog. Tell me what you think!
Oh là là, I *love* these little pots of heaven! I used all milk chocolate, and I chose an Israeli chocolate brand called Elite, since I just brought some back from my trip. :)

These may dirty a few dishes, but are so pretty, nice and simple! I used all dark chocolate and they tasted almost exactly like hot cocoa… FUN. :)

I love making pots de creme. I couldn’t find ‘fancy’ milk chocolate at my grocery so used a Hershey bar and they were fab!

Loved the texture, not the taste… I used a dairy milk bar and split the recipe in half…
