      I felt the same way! I do like rum, as far as liqueurs go, though I don’t like booze-heavy desserts usually– but man, I thought this cake was *awesome*! :)

      I’m with you both. Not a fan of rum – though I don’t mind boozy desserts – but this one bowled me over with how delicious it was!

      I think I’m in the minority here, but I thought the triple punch of rum made this cake quite boozy. You may be okay taking it to a work function, but I think it tastes differently to various people. Maybe it wouldn’t cause such a stir if you made it clear from the start that is IS a RUM cake? I’m not a huge rum fan, but didn’t mind it in this cake… but it is a strong flavor.

      I had the same thought, and I would probably avoid bringing it to work… but I work in a school, which somehow makes it seem like an extra bad idea!
