      Hi Susan,

I had trouble posting a comment directly to your blog. Just wanted to say that your brittle was beautiful! Like Mark, I loved your description of “kissed with cinnamon”. :)

I saw a recipe for a cake to pair with pumpkin brittle on Pinterest (via Food & Wine), and ended up with a beautiful dessert. The whole project was lots of fun!

Still not a fan of brittle. But I did love the pumpkin seeds!
Maybe I need to practice my sugar melting as I always find it a little burnt tasting even though it doesn’t get super dark.

    Good morning all!

I was pretty pleased with this one… the second time around (again)! I still want to work on the texture a bit though…

Morning! I forgot to mention in my blog how much I dug the cinnamon in this – definitely different from any other brittle I’ve had.

Erin! I would love to read your blog! However, I’m told I need to be “invited” to read it… I’m currently prohibited! Can you add me? Thanks!

Sorry everyone! It should work now. Still getting a handle on this whole blog thing. :/

I adored this. It came together fast – though it’s a little tricky; you gotta work fast once you toss in that baking soda – but the result was rewarding. And thankfully, I can still snack on this with my dental work, if I’m careful! Haha! I will make this again, definitely. Yummy.

I love brittle, and this is so addictive! I had to give most of it away so I’d stop eating it.

Very good! I agree with Sheri, way too easy to keep eating:

        Thanks!

When I first started that “site/blog” I had about a billion spam messages left in the comment section, so I turned that off. Thank you for reminding me and I will turn it back on.

Looking forward to next Sunday’s Baked adventure.

        Ben
