The dulce de leche didn’t work well as a filling. Went with the nutella!

I received nothing but compliments on these, but I only liked the cookie part! Dulce de leche is gross! Lol… Oh, and I got bored yesterday and totally changed my blog…

Wow I was going to make this, but since the reviews have not been good I think I will pass this one by..didn’t really have the time to make them anyway. Happy Mothers Day!

Sadly disappointed. I was looking forward to these. Granted, I overcooked my dulce de leche to the consistency to chewy caramel (which was hard to work with when assembling these) – totally my fault – but I thought the cookies were – well, kinda boring. Not a favorite.

I loved these too– soooo yummy! I will definitely make these again, though I may use ready-made dulce de leche in the future. Happy Mother’s Day to the BSM moms– I hope someone is baking something for YOU today! :)

happy mom’s day all. we were so looking forward to everyone’s alfajores reaction as it was the most divisive recipe in the book by far. half our testers swore by it, the other half were less encouraged.

and i guess i need to cut back on my dulce de leche obsession :)

Everyone who tried mine loved them, so I think it’s definitely a good thing it went into the book! :)
