I went a little rogue on my flavors. Very tasty, but UGH, chocolate tempering…

I made a huge mess, and I’m glad these are behind me. http://www.porkcracklins.com/2017/11/honey-dark-chocolate-truffles/

Thank you many times over! Here it is finally:

I really liked these (and so did all of my family and friends). I’m rethinking my anti-chocolate tempering stance.

Truffles = super delicious. Tempering chocolate = the worst.

I’m sensing a theme with this chocolate tempering business… ;-)

I’m excited to say that I pulled one of my truffles out of the fridge yesterday and took a bite. I got that lovely little crunch on the outside that said “yes, your chocolate was tempered”. Yay!!

I’m not sure if there is any more satisfying feeling in the world. :)
